Notice is hereby given that the Town of Haymarket Town Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at 7 pm or as soon thereafter as may be heard at the Haymarket Town Hall located at 15000 Washington Street, Suite 100, Haymarket VA to receive public comment on proposed Ordinance #2026-002: An ordinance amending Chapter 46, of the Haymarket Town Code, to provide regulations for the use of and rentals of motorized skateboards or scooters, bicycles, or electric power-assisted bicycles. A full copy of the proposed ordinance is available upon request or is available for review at the Office of the Town Clerk at 15000 Washington Street, Suite 100, Haymarket, VA 20169 between the hours of 9 am - 4 pm. The public hearing will be held in a public facility accessible to persons with disabilities. Real Estate Taxes Due
July 15, 2026
Prince William County's real estate taxes for the first half of 2026 are due on July 15, 2026. If you haven't received a tax bill for your property and think you should have, please reach out to the Taxpayer Services Office at (703) 792-6710 or via email at TaxpayerServices@pwcgov.org.
The Taxpayer Services office is open for in-person visits from Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Meanwhile, other Tax Administration services are available from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Be aware that a late payment penalty of 10% will be added to any unpaid tax balance if it's not settled by the due date. Additionally, interest at 10% per year will accumulate monthly until the balance is paid in full.
You can make payments electronically at tax.pwcgov.org or by phone at 1-888-272-9829. Remember, the jurisdiction code for Prince William County is 1036. Alternatively, you can send payments by mail to PO Box 70519, Philadelphia, PA 19176-0519, or visit the Taxpayer Services offices, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at either the Sudley North or Development Services Building.
If you receive a tax bill and your mortgage company is handling your property taxes, it's essential to contact them promptly. Your mortgage company will inform you of the correct procedure for having them pay the County directly on your behalf.

Notice of Voluntary Remediation
Pursuant to the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality (VDEQ) Voluntary Remediation Program (VRP) Regulations (9VAC20-160-120), KRCX Sandrell of Virginia, LLC (KRCX) is providing notice of voluntary remediation at the referenced Gordon Plaza property (herein referenced to as "the Site"), located at 13271 Gordon Boulevard, Woodbridge, Prince William County, Virginia. The Site was enrolled in the VDEQ VRP on September 27, 2024. Environmental investigations identified chlorinated volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in soil, soil gas, and groundwater, with localized groundwater concentrations exceeding VDEQ standards, in relation to a drycleaning solvent release(s) by a historical drycleaner that operated at the Site. A Site Characterization Report documenting the site assessment is available upon request from the VDEQ.
The Site is currently under development with plans to redevelop the property with commercial retail uses including a Home Depot, an Aldi, and a Chase Bank. To support the redevelopment, a new access road, Marina Way, will be constructed across the central part of the Site connecting Gordon Boulevard with Annapolis Way.
The proposed remediation will include the implementation of land use controls at the Site, including property use restrictions, groundwater use restrictions, groundwater monitoring, and installation of a vapor intrusion mitigation system at one building on the Site in the isolated area of potential impact.

FISCAL YEAR 2026 BUDGET AMENDMENT
Notice is hereby given pursuant to § 15.2-2507 of the Code of Virginia, that the City Council of Manassas will conduct a public hearing for the purpose of receiving comments on a proposed amendment to the Fiscal Year 2026 Budget during its meeting on Monday, July 13, 2026, which begins at 5:30 P.M. in the City Council Chambers, at 9027 Center Street, Manassas, Virginia. Sudley Road Improvements
Notice of Willingness to Hold a Public Hearing
Find out about proposed plans for pedestrian and streetscape improvements to Sudley Road from Mathis Avenue to Grant Avenue, a total length of approximately 0.70 miles to include a new pedestrian crosswalk located in the general area of Weems Road, Sudley Road, Ewell Street. The project will be constructed in accordance with VDOT and City of Manassas standards through the use of local and state funding.
