Notice is hereby given that the Planning Commission of the Town of Haymarket will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at 7:00 P.M. in the Haymarket Town Hall located at 15000 Washington Street, Suite 100, Haymarket, Virginia, to consider a rezoning application for 14600 Washington Street.
The Rezoning Application, a proposed rezoning at 14600 Washington Street, Haymarket, VA from B-1 to R-2, is available on the Town´s website (www.townofhaymarket.org) and for review at Town Hall located at 15000 Washington Street, between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. NOTICE OF WILLINGNESS
Lions Field Road Sidewalk Project
The Prince William County Department of Transportation (PWC DOT), in cooperation with the Virginia
Department of Transportation (VDOT) and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), proposes the
construction of sidewalk on the southern side (eastbound lane) of Lions Field Road from the
intersection with Fuller Heights Road to the intersection with the entrance to Triangle Elementary
School. The project also includes: curb and gutter with a new closed storm sewer system connecting to
the existing closed storm sewer system on Fuller Heights Road; approximately 900' of roadside ditch; a
new crosswalk spanning the entrance to Triangle Elementary School; and improvements to bring both
intersections into compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, as amended (ADA).
The project is state/federally funded, through the specialized state/federal MAP21/TAP and
Transportation Enhancement Funds to be constructed via the VDOT Locally Administered Project
Process. The sidewalk construction will require the dedication of right-of-way and easements.
In accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and 23 CFR 771, a Programmatic
Categorical Exclusion (PCE) has been prepared under an agreement between VDOT and FHWA for the
project. In compliance with the National Historic Preservation Act, Section 106 and 36 CFR Part 800,
information concerning the potential effects of the proposed improvements on properties listed in or
eligible for listing in the National Register of Historic Places is included the PCE.

Project description: The applicant has applied for a new permit for the Catlett Industrial Park project. The project is located e ast of 3388 Catlett Road, approximately 700 feet northeast of the Catlett Road and Gaskins Lane intersection in Fauquier County, Virginia. The proposed activity includes construction of an approximately 630,000 gross square-foot floor-area industrial park, consisting of 3-warehouse buildings and associated infrastructure on an approximately 66-acre development site. The proposed activity would affect 0.58 acre(s) of wetlands, 0.02 acre(s) open water, 1,712 linear feet of stream channel. The proposed activity would affect an unnamed tributary to Walnut Branch in the Potomac watershed. To compensate for the surface waters affected, the applicant would purchase 0.60 wetland mitigation credit(s) and 1,660 USM stream mitigation credits. DEQ's tentative decision is to issue the permit.
