The Prince William County Department of Transportation (PWCDOT) will conduct a Public Hearing for the University Boulevard Extension project at the Piney Branch Elementary School Cafeteria, 8301 Linton Hall Road, Bristow, Virginia, 20136, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 30, 2026. Beau Ridge Drive Sidewalk Improvement Project
The Prince William County Department of Transportation (PWC DOT), in cooperation with the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), proposes the Beau Ridge Sidewalk Improvement Project (Project). The Project will include the construction of missing segments of sidewalk along both sides of Beau Ridge Drive between Legere Court and Cardinal Drive. In addition to pedestrian sidewalks, the Project will also include ramps that are compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), pavement markings, traffic signs and roadway barriers.
This Project is state funded, through proffer and Transportation Enhancement Funds to be constructed via the VDOT LAP Process. The sidewalk construction will require the dedication of right-of-way and easements.

On February 12, 2026, Virginia Fiber Express Networks LLC ("VFEN" or "Company") completed the filing of an application ("Application") with the State Corporation Commission ("Commission") for certificates of public convenience and necessity to provide local exchange and interexchange telecommunications services throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. The Company also requested authority to price its interexchange telecommunications services on a competitive basis.

Resolution Authorizing Acquisition of Property Necessary
for Public Purposes by Condemnation or Other Means
March 31, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.
The Fauquier County Water and Sanitation Authority, ("FCWSA") will hold a public hearing pursuant to Section 15.2-1903(B) of the Virginia Code on March 31, 2026 at 2:00 p.m., to receive and consider public comments on the proposed acquisition, by condemnation or other means, of a certain permanent utility easement on a portion of certain real estate identified as GPIN 6889-75-8757-000, containing 12.5549 acres, Fauquier County, Virginia. FCWSA seeks to acquire an easement on a portion of the Property for public use in order to install, construction, operate, maintain, repair, and replace one or more present for future water mains, including fire hydrants, valves, vaults, meters, building service connections, and other appurtenant facilities necessary in connection therewith for the purpose of the transmission and distribution of water in the Bealeton Service District of Fauquier County, Virginia.
Following the public hearing, FCWSA's Board may vote on or after March 31, 2026, to adopt a Resolution approving the proposed public use and authorization and directing the acquisition of such easement on a portion of the Property for the public use by condemnation or other means.
A proposed Resolution and other related information will be made available for public review prior to the public hearing on FCWSA's website at www.fcwsa.org, at the office of FCWSA located at 7172 Kennedy Road, Vint Hill Farms, Warrenton, Virginia 20187, and in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Fauquier County, Virginia located at 29 Ashby Street, Warrenton, Virginia 20186.
