
Sudley Road Improvements
Notice of Willingness to Hold a Public Hearing
Find out about proposed plans for pedestrian and streetscape improvements to Sudley Road from Mathis Avenue to Grant Avenue, a total length of approximately 0.70 miles to include a new pedestrian crosswalk located in the general area of Weems Road, Sudley Road, Ewell Street. The project will be constructed in accordance with VDOT and City of Manassas standards through the use of local and state funding.

Pursuant with the Statewide Environmental Review Process (SERP), the City Project has received a determination from the Virginia Department of Historic Resources that the historic properties in the area of potential effects will not be adversely affected by the project.
If your concerns cannot be satisfied, the City of Manassas is willing to hold a design public hearing. You may request that a public hearing be held by sending a written request to Mr. Christer Carshult, City of Manassas, 9027 Center Street, Manassas, VA 20110, or via email: ccarshult@manassasva.gov on or before August 20, 2026. If a request for a public hearing is received, notice of the date, time, and place of the hearing will be posted.
