Manassas Regional Airport announces the availability of the Draft Programmatic Environmental Assessment (PEA) for the Part 139 Certification & Terminal Redevelopment Program at Manassas Regional Airport for review and comment. This PEA was prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) of 1969, and pursuant to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Order 1050.1G, FAA National Environmental Policy Act Implementing Procedures, and the Department of Transportation (DOT) Order 5610.1D, DOT's Procedures for Considering Environmental Impacts. The PEA analyzes the possible environmental effects of the proposed Manassas Regional Airport (HEF) Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) Part 139 Certification and Terminal Redevelopment Program. This PEA examines potential impacts associated with terminal expansion and certification standards to support the introduction of scheduled commercial service operations at HEF.

Project description: Dominion Energy Virginia has applied for renewal of the permit for Remington Combustion Turbine Station. The facility is located Northeast of the Town of Remington, East of Route 15 off Lucky Hill Road. The facility is classified as a major source of air pollution. There is no proposed change in emissions. The permit renewal would allow the source to continue to operate a fossil fuel electric power generation facility.
HOW TO COMMENT AND/OR REQUEST A PUBLIC HEARING: DEQ accepts comments and requests for public hearing by hand-delivery, e-mail, or postal mail. All comments and requests must be in writing and be received by DEQ during the comment period. Submittals must include the names and mailing addresses or email addresses of the commenter/requester and of all persons represented by the commenter/requester. A request for public hearing must also include: 1) The reason why a public hearing is requested. 2) A brief, informal statement regarding the nature and extent of the interest of the requester or of those represented by the requester, including how and to what extent such interest would be directly and adversely affected by the permit. 3) Specific references, where possible, to terms and conditions of the permit, with suggested revisions. NOTICE OF WILLINGNESS
Graham Park Road Sidewalk Improvement
Prince William County Department of Transportation (PWC DOT), in cooperation with the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) proposes the construction of an approximately 1,600-foot segment of 5-foot-wide sidewalk that ties to existing facilities just after Jillian Lane and ties back into an existing sidewalk just beyond Graham Park Middle School. The sidewalk will have a 4-foot-wide inside buffer strip between the sidewalk and existing curb & gutter and a 1-foot-wide outside buffer on the backside of the sidewalk. Additional project improvements and design elements include Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, as amended (ADA) compliant curb ramps and entrances, drainage accommodations, a retaining wall, and the relocation of several utility poles. The sidewalk construction will require dedication of right of way and easements from multiple adjacent properties.
In accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and 23 CFR 771, a Programmatic Categorical Exclusion (PCE) has been prepared under an agreement between VDOT and FHWA for the project. In compliance with the National Historic Preservation Act, Section 106 and 36 CFR Part 800, information concerning the potential effects of the proposed project on properties listed in or eligible for listing in the National Register of Historic Places is also provided in the environmental document.

Project description: ODEC has applied for a modification to the permit for ODEC – Marsh Run Generation Facility. The facility is classified as a major source of air pollution. The proposed change in emissions would be 27.11 tons/yr of CO, 0.03 tons/yr of VOC, -1.79 tons/yr of SO2, and -16.22 tons/yr of PM10 and PM2.5. The permit modification would allow the source to install upgrades on each of the combustion turbines and continue to operate emission units at the electric power generating facility.

On February 12, 2026, Virginia Fiber Express Networks LLC ("VFEN" or "Company") completed the filing of an application ("Application") with the State Corporation Commission ("Commission") for certificates of public convenience and necessity to provide local exchange and interexchange telecommunications services throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. The Company also requested authority to price its interexchange telecommunications services on a competitive basis.

On or before April 17, 2026, any interested person may submit comments on the Application electronically by following the instructions on the Commission's website: scc.virginia.gov/case-information/submit-public-comments. Those unable, as a practical matter, to submit comments electronically may file such comments by U.S. mail to the Clerk of the Commission, c/o Document Control Center, P.O. Box 2118, Richmond, Virginia 23218-2118. All comments shall refer to Case No. PUR-2025-00224.

Such request for hearing shall include the email addresses of such parties or their counsel, if available. Requests for a hearing shall include: (i) a precise statement of the filing party's interest in the proceeding; (ii) a statement of the specific action sought to the extent then known; (iii) a statement of the legal basis for such action; and (iv) a precise statement why a hearing should be conducted in this matter. All requests for a hearing shall refer to Case No. PUR-2025-00224. Persons filing a request for hearing shall send a copy of their request to VFEN's counsel at the address set forth above.
