NOTICE JOINT PUBLIC HEARING TOWN OF THE PLAINS, VIRGINIA PLANNING COMMISSION AND TOWN COUNCIL Notice is hereby given that the Town of The Plains Planning Commission and Town Council will hold a joint public hearing on Monday, August 17, 2026, at 6:30 p.m., at Town Hall (former Methodist Church), 6451 Main Street, The Plains, Virginia. The purpose of the joint public hearing is to receive public comment on a request to issue a new Special Use Permit for the previously approved Special Use Permit No. 2024-022 for the existing restaurant use at 4244 Loudoun Avenue, The Plains, Virginia 20198, identified in prior materials as GPIN 6999-08-1341-000, subject to confirmation by the Town. The property is located in the Village Center, Historic and Gateway Overlay Zoning Districts. The request concerns a restaurant with seating for 21 or more seats and would remove the prior owner/operator reference to Girasole / MAN-PAT LLC, identify the new owner/operator as Rachael Glaws or an approved legal business entity, and adopt updated conditions for continued restaurant operation.
