PUBLIC INFORMATION MEETING ROUTE 234 AND SUDLEY MANOR DRIVE INTERCHANGE PROJECT VDOT UPC: 128139 STATE PROJECT NUMBER: 1566-076-381 Wednesday, October 7th, 2026 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Freedom Aquatic & Fitness Center, Community Room 9100 Freedom Center Boulevard Manassas, VA 20110 The Prince William County Department of Transportation and Capital Construction (PWC DTCC) will conduct a Public Information Meeting for Route 234 and Sudley Manor Drive Interchange project at the Freedom Aquatic & Fitness Center, Community Room, 9100 Freedom Center Blvd, Manassas, VA 20110, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 7, 2026. Prince William County representatives and County Consultant design staff will be present to discuss the project and answer questions. The Route 234 and Sudley Manor Drive Interchange Project includes proposed improvements to Route 234 and the surrounding roadway network near Sudley Manor Drive, Wellington Road, and Bethlehem Road. The project will remove the existing traffic signals on Route 234 at both Sudley Manor Drive and Wellington Road, and convert both intersections to right-in, right-out access. These improvements will allow traffic on Route 234 to travel through the project area without stopping at either location. A new roadway and bridge will be constructed over Route 234 to provide a grade-separated connection between Sudley Manor Drive and Wellington Road. This connection will allow cross traffic to travel between areas on both sides of Route 234 without directly intersecting Route 234 traffic. The project will also include roadway and median improvements throughout the project area. Pedestrian and bicycle accommodation is an integral part of the project and will include new sidewalks and shared-use paths to improve connections between nearby roadways and destinations. Together, these improvements are intended to reduce traffic delays, improve roadway connectivity, enhance traffic control devices, and provide more accessible travel for motorists, pedestrians, and bicyclists.
