The Town of Remington Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing on Thursday April 23, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the public hearing might be heard, at Town Hall, 105 East Main Street, Remington, Virginia, 22734 to consider the following:
2026-002-VAR – Rhetson Companies, Inc., Applicant: Requests a Variance of the minimum parking space requirement of one (1) space for each 200 square feet of gross leasable area as required in Chapter 8, Zoning, Sec. 15-1, General Provisions for Off-Street Parking and Loading – Other Retail Establishments, for construction of a proposed Dollar General Store. The property is identified as GPIN 6887-19-6852-000, zoned C-2, General Commercial and is located on the east side of North James Madison Street, across the street from M.M. Pierce Elementary School, Remington Virginia.
