NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the Planning Commission of the Town of Warrenton will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, May 19, at 7:00 PM in the Warrenton Town Hall Council Chambers (First Floor) located at 21 Main Street, Warrenton, Virginia, on the following items(s):
ZOTA-26-1: A Zoning Ordinance Text Amendment to allow Hotels of up to 30 or 40 Rooms, as well as Clubs and Lodges, as By-Right Uses in the Central Business District. On April 14, 2026 the Town Council initiated a Zoning Ordinance Text Amendment to Articles 3, 9 and 12 to allow Hotels of up to 30 or 40 rooms, as well as Clubs and Lodges, as Permitted (by-right) uses in the Central Business District (CBD).
People having an interest in the above are invited to attend the hearing and state their opinion regarding the issue. The public may also choose to submit written comments through the Town's website or by emailing citizencomment@warrentonva.gov during the public comment period which will end at noon the day of the public hearing. The Planning Commission may make a recommendation to the Town Council, which will hold a public hearing at a later date. Information is available for viewing on the Town website www.warrentonva.gov.
