NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Zoning Appeals of the Town of Warrenton will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, May 5th, at 5:00 PM in the Warrenton Town Hall Council Chambers (First Floor) located at 21 Main Street, Warrenton, Virginia, on the following item(s):
BZA #2026-1 – Application for a Variance pursuant to Article 3-4.3.4, lot and yard regulations of the Town of Warrenton Zoning Ordinance. The Applicant, Fauquier Habitat for Humanity, is requesting a Variance of the minimum lot size, minimum frontage, and minimum front, side, and rear yard setback requirements so that the existing two-family dwelling can be subdivided into two separate single-family dwellings on individual lots. The property is located at 135 and 143 Haiti Street, and is zoned to the R-6 Residential District. The property totals 7,614 square feet in total area, across what is shown as two parcels on GIS data (PIN's 6984-44-9545-000 and 6984-44-9538-000). (Ward 2)
People having an interest in the above are invited to attend the hearing and state their opinion regarding the issue. The public may also choose to submit written comments by emailing BZA@warrentonva.gov during the public comment period, which will end at noon the day of the public hearing. All documents and information related to this item are available for viewing on the Town website approximately one week prior to the meeting date. The meeting will be both live streamed and recorded for later viewing. NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC OF AN APPLICATION BY VIRGINIA FIBER EXPRESS NETWORKS LLC, FOR CERTIFICATES OF PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY TO PROVIDE LOCAL EXCHANGE AND INTEREXCHANGE TELECOMMUNICATIONS SERVICES IN THE COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA

On February 12, 2026, Virginia Fiber Express Networks LLC ("VFEN" or "Company") completed the filing of an application ("Application") with the State Corporation Commission ("Commission") for certificates of public convenience and necessity to provide local exchange and interexchange telecommunications services throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. The Company also requested authority to price its interexchange telecommunications services on a competitive basis.
The Commission entered an order that, among other things, directs the Company to provide notice to the public of its Application and provides an opportunity for public comment and requests for hearing on the Application. Public copies of the Application may be downloaded from the Commission's website: scc.virginia.gov/case-information, or may be obtained from VFEN's counsel: Brian McDermott, Esquire, Strategies Law Group, 1002 Parker Street, Falls Church, Virginia 22046 or bmcdermott@stratlg.com.
On or before April 17, 2026, any interested person may submit comments on the Application electronically by following the instructions on the Commission's website: scc.virginia.gov/case-information/submit-public-comments. Those unable, as a practical matter, to submit comments electronically may file such comments by U.S. mail to the Clerk of the Commission, c/o Document Control Center, P.O.
