NOTICE OF INTENT TO RECOMMEND APPOINTMENT OF MEMBERS TO THE
BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS OF THE TOWN OF WARRENTON
The Council of the Town of Warrenton will recommend to the Circuit Court of Fauquier County appointment of Town residents to fill one upcoming vacancy on the Board of Zoning Appeals of the Town of Warrenton. This vacancy is due to a term expiring.
Residents of the Town who wish to be considered for the appointments are requested to forward a letter of interest to the Warrenton Town Council, c/o Mr. Stephen Clough, Town Clerk, at P. O. Box 341, Warrenton, Virginia 20188.You may also email your letter of interest to TownClerk@warrentonva.gov. For additional information concerning position requirements, contact the Zoning Administrator, Heather Jenkins, by telephone at 540-347-1101. Please submit all applications by November 26th, 2025.

Any and all foreign documents must be accompanied by a translation of that document and a letter from your embassy stating its authenticity. If the document is a diploma and/or transcript, the letter must also document the equivalency of said diploma and/or transcript.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
In accordance with (§) 15.2-2101 of the Code of Virginia, the Town of Remington is seeking bids for a franchise, right and privilege, over, along, on, and under the streets, alleys, and public places of the Town, for the purposes of distributing, transmitting, and selling electric current for light, heat, power and broadband facilities including all equipment, accessories, and appurtenances desirable, and communications through broadband facilities, at any point within the corporate limits of the Town of Remington; as the same now exist or may hereafter be extended or altered, in accordance with a Franchise Agreement to be reviewed and approved by the Town Council.
Such franchise shall be for a term of forty (40) years. A copy of the proposed ordinance and Franchise Agreement is on file at Town Hall and is available for public review.
All bids must be submitted in writing to the Town of Remington office, 105 E Main St, Remington, VA 22734-Attention Town Administrator, Rachael Brinson by Wednesday, October 15, 2025. All bids will be presented to the Town Council at its regular meeting on October 20, 2025, at Town Hall, 105 E Main St, Remington, Va 22734 at 7:00PM according to Section 15.2-2102 of the Code of Virginia.
