Notice is hereby given that the Town Council of the Town of Warrenton will hold their Regular Monthly Meeting Work Session on Tuesday, December 9th, 2025, at 9:00 AM in the Warrenton Town Hall Council Chambers (First Floor) located at 21 Main Street, Warrenton, Virginia.
Notice is hereby given that the Town Council of the Town of Warrenton will hold their Regular Monthly Meeting on Tuesday, December 9th, 2025, at 6:30 PM in the Warrenton Town Hall Council Chambers (First Floor) located at 21 Main Street, Warrenton, Virginia. The Town Council will hold a Public Hearing on the following items:
LWAV-25-2 – Daniels Property – An Exception to Authorize a Dead-End Street (Cul-de-Sac) for an Eight-Lot Residential Subdivision Per Subdivision Ordinance Section 2.7 Variations and Exceptions and Section 4.2.10 Streets. The Applicant is requesting approval of an exception to the Subdivision Ordinance prohibition of dead-end (cul-de-sac) streets for an eight-lot residential subdivision, located at 545 Old Meetze Road, PIN's 6984-60-9026-000, 6984-70-1108-000 and 6984-70-2394-000. Consisting of a total of 5.34 acres split-zoned to the R-6 and R-15 Residential Districts, the proposed subdivision consists of a by-right development of the subject property, with the sole exception of the requested cul-de-sac exception. SUP 2025-02 Home Depot - The Owner/Applicant, HD Development of Maryland, is requesting a Special Use Permit (SUP) to expand the existing Home Depot located at 267 Alwington Boulevard to provide under-cover storage for rental equipment by building 10' walls with a canopy that act as screening per Zoning Ordinance Article 3-4.10.3. The proposal calls for a reduction of 29 existing parking spaces, of which 14 are located on the south side of the building and 15 are located on the north side of the building. The parcel is zoned Commercial and designated on the Future Land Use Map in the Greenway and Makers Character District. GPIN 6983-57-1258-000 (formerly 6983-57-1258-500)
People having an interest in the above are invited to participate in the hearing and state their opinion regarding the above issues. The public may also choose to submit written comments through the Town's website or by emailing citizencomment@warrentonva.gov during the public comment period, which will end at noon the day of the Public Meeting, December 9th, 2025. Copies of the agenda information will be available online and are available for review at Town Hall located at 21 Main Street, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
