FAUQUIER COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION

The Fauquier County Planning Commission has rescheduled its meeting from Thursday, January 15, 2026, to Wednesday, January 21, 2026. A work session will be held beginning at 9:30 a.m. in the Warren Green Building, First Floor Meeting Room, 10 Hotel Street, Warrenton, Virginia.
The Fauquier County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on the following items at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, in the Warren Green Building, First Floor Meeting Room, 10 Hotel Street, Warrenton, Virginia:
1. COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT COMA-24-023661 AND COMA-25-023821 – A Comprehensive Plan Amendment to update Chapter 1: Introduction and Vision and Chapter 6: Service District Introduction; add Chapter 1B: Planning and Land Use; and remove Chapter 4: Zoning & Land Use, Chapter 5: Economic Base, Chapter 11: Community Design Guidelines, Appendix A: Planning History & Goals, Appendix B: Locating Soil & Land Use Areas, Appendix D: Subdivisions of Fifteen or More Lots, and Appendix E: Major Fauquier County Employers.
