Notice is hereby given that the Town Council of the Town of Warrenton will hold their Regular Monthly Meeting on Tuesday, December 9th, 2025, at 6:30 PM in the Warrenton Town Hall Council Chambers (First Floor) located at 21 Main Street, Warrenton, Virginia. The Town Council will hold a Public Hearing on the following items:
LWAV-25-2 – Daniels Property – An Exception to Authorize a Dead-End Street (Cul-de-Sac) for an Eight-Lot Residential Subdivision Per Subdivision Ordinance Section 2.7 Variations and Exceptions and Section 4.2.10 Streets. The Applicant is requesting approval of an exception to the Subdivision Ordinance prohibition of dead-end (cul-de-sac) streets for an eight-lot residential subdivision, located at 545 Old Meetze Road, PIN's 6984-60-9026-000, 6984-70-1108-000 and 6984-70-2394-000. Consisting of a total of 5.34 acres split-zoned to the R-6 and R-15 Residential Districts, the proposed subdivision consists of a by-right development of the subject property, with the sole exception of the requested cul-de-sac exception. SUP 2025-02 Home Depot - The Owner/Applicant, HD Development of Maryland, is requesting a Special Use Permit (SUP) to expand the existing Home Depot located at 267 Alwington Boulevard to provide under-cover storage for rental equipment by building 10' walls with a canopy that act as screening per Zoning Ordinance Article 3-4.10.3. The proposal calls for a reduction of 29 existing parking spaces, of which 14 are located on the south side of the building and 15 are located on the north side of the building. The parcel is zoned Commercial and designated on the Future Land Use Map in the Greenway and Makers Character District. GPIN 6983-57-1258-000 (formerly 6983-57-1258-500)

The public may also choose to submit written comments through the Town's website or by emailing citizencomment@warrentonva.gov during the public comment period, which will end at noon the day of the Public Meeting, December 9th, 2025. IN RE: ONE RED AND WHITE FEMALE LONGHORN COW
CASE NO: GC25001402-00
The owner of a red and white female Longhorn cow further described herein shall take notice that on Monday, November 24, 2025 at 1:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the case may be heard, the Fauquier County General District Court, located at 6 Court Street, Warrenton, Virginia, will conduct a hearing. The purpose of the hearing is to consider the petition of the Fauquier County Board of Supervisors, ex rel. Fauquier County Sheriff's Office, Animal Control Division (Petitioner), filed pursuant to Code of Virginia § 3.2-6569 to determine whether said cow was abandoned, and if so, the Court will decide Petitioner's authority to dispose of the cow pursuant to subsection D of § 3.2-6546 of the Code of Virginia. Said cow was located on November 3, 2025 at 10037 Bristersburg Road, Catlett, Fauquier County, Virginia. The cow is a Longhorn with red and white markings with no ear tag. The State Veterinarian and the County Attorney's Office were contacted. The cow was seized and impounded pursuant to Code of Virginia § 3.2-6569. At the Manassas City Council meeting beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, December 8, 2025 the City Council will hold a public hearing, pursuant to Virginia Code Section 15.2-1800, at City Hall Council Chambers, 9027 Center Street, 1st Floor to consider awarding two franchises, for terms not exceeding forty (40) years, to High Flying Hangars of Virginia, LLC for the construction and operation of no fewer than thirty-nine (39) new box-style aircraft hangars of various sizes on Lot W-2, and to HEF JPC Hangar, LLC for the construction and operation of a 6,400-square-foot box-style aircraft hangar with adjoining office space on Lot W-1. Both sites are located at 10501 Observation Road within the Manassas Regional Airport.
Interested parties are invited to attend the public hearing and provide comment on the proposed franchise. The complete text of the proposed franchise ordinance is available for public review at the Office of the Airport Director, located on the second floor of the Manassas Regional Airport terminal building, 10600 Harry J. Parrish Blvd., Manassas, VA 20110.
