Notice is hereby given that the City Council will conduct a public hearing on the following item(s). All interested parties are encouraged to present their views at this hearing.
ZTA #2026-0001 – Zoning Ordinance Text Amendments
To consider amendments to Articles 2, 6, and 8 of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Manassas.
Article 2, Sec. 130-42 (Definitions) – Sec. 130-42 is proposed to be amended to add and define the term "Data Center".
Article 6, Sec. 130-204 (Off Street Parking Requirements) – This section is proposed to be modified to create parking standards for the use Data Center.
Article 8, Sec. 130-241 (Use Tables) – This section is proposed to be amended to add the use Data Center to the use table.
Article 8, Sec. 130-306 (I-1 Light Industrial) – This section is proposed to be amended to create additional setbacks and façade standards for structures associated with the uses Data Center, Manufacturing, Light, and Warehousing and Distribution. The section is also proposed to be amended to address mechanical equipment screening and to create new standards in the zoning district to address the location of mechanical equipment and noise.
Article 8, Sec. 130-307 (I-2 Heavy Industrial) – This section is proposed to be amended to create additional setbacks and façade standards for structures associated with the uses Data Center, Manufacturing, Heavy, Manufacturing, Light, Truck Terminal and Warehousing and Distribution. The section is also proposed to be amended to address mechanical equipment screening and to create new standards in the zoning district to address the location of mechanical equipment and noise.

This meeting is being held in the City Council Chambers, 9027 Center Street, in a public facility believed to be accessible to persons with disabilities. Any person with questions on the accessibility of the facility should contact the City Clerk at the above address or by telephone at 703-257-8280. Persons needing interpreter services for the deaf must notify the City Clerk no later than 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 3, 2025.

The owner of the two Shorthorn cattle further described herein shall take notice that on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at 11:30 a.m., or as soon thereafter as the case may be heard, the Fauquier County General District Court, located at 6 Court Street, Warrenton, Virginia, will conduct a hearing. The purpose of the hearing is to consider the petition of the Fauquier County Board of Supervisors, ex rel. Fauquier County Sheriff's Office, Animal Control Division (Petitioner), filed pursuant to Code of Virginia § 3.2-6569 to determine whether said cattle were abandoned, and if so, the Court will decide Petitioner's authority to dispose of the cattle pursuant to subsection D of § 3.2-6546 of the Code of Virginia. Said cattle were located on September 12, 2025 at 10717 Brent Town Road, Catlett, Fauquier County, Virginia. The cattle are Shorthorns, one white and roan male with a green ear tag with number 233, and one female that is red with white markings. The State Veterinarian and the County Attorney's Office were contacted. The cattle were seized and impounded pursuant to Code of Virginia § 3.2-6569. The owner of the one white and brown female goat further described herein shall take notice that on Friday, October 17, 2025 at 9:00 a.m., or as soon thereafter as the case may be heard, the Fauquier County General District Court, located at 6 Court Street, Warrenton, Virginia, will conduct a hearing. The purpose of the hearing is to consider the petition of the Fauquier County Board of Supervisors, ex rel.
