Notice is hereby given that the City Council for the City of Manassas, Virginia, will hold a public hearing pursuant to Virginia Code §15.2-1800 (B) on Monday, November 10, 2025 at the regular City Council meeting beginning at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall, 9027 Center Street, on the conveyance of City-owned real property to the Economic Development Authority of the City of Manassas, Virginia ("EDA"). The property that is the subject of the conveyance to the EDA is a new parcel of approximately 101,996 square feet of real property, that includes 25,143 square feet taken from 9800 Godwin Drive, Manassas, VA, also identified as City Tax Map No. 102-01-00-40H, and 76,853 square feet of real property taken from 10500 Gateway Blvd., also identified as City Tax Map No. 102-10-00-1B2. The boundaries of the property to be conveyed are shown on a plat entitled "Boundary Line Adjustment and Subdivision of the Property of City of Manassas", prepared by IMEG and dated Oct. 8, 2024. If the conveyance is approved, this property will be conveyed subject to such terms and conditions as set forth in the Cooperation Agreement for Manassas Gateway, the full text of which, with the referenced plat, is on file and available for inspection and copying in the Office of the Clerk of City Council, located on the 4th floor of City Hall, 9027 Center Street, Manassas, VA 20110.
Any person may appear at the public hearing to express their views on the proposed conveyance to the EDA. This hearing is being held in a public facility believed to be accessible to persons with disabilities. Persons needing interpreter services for the hearing impaired and/or vision impaired should notify the City Clerk at least one week before the scheduled hearing.
