Notice is hereby given that the Town Council of the Town of Warrenton will hold their Regular Monthly Meeting Work Session on Wednesday, November 12th, 2025, at 9:00 AM in the Warrenton Town Hall Council Chambers (First Floor) located at 21 Main Street, Warrenton, Virginia.
Notice is hereby given that the Town Council of the Town of Warrenton will hold their Regular Monthly Meeting on Wednesday, November 12th, 2025, at 6:30 PM in the Warrenton Town Hall Council Chambers (First Floor) located at 21 Main Street, Warrenton, Virginia. The Town Council will hold a Public Hearing on the following items:
Resolution – A public hearing on a resolution to amend the fiscal year 2026 adopted budget to appropriate carryover funds in the amount of $28,425,118.53 to fund ongoing projects from fiscal year 2025.
People having an interest in the above are invited to participate in the hearing and state their opinion regarding the above issues. The public may also choose to submit written comments through the Town's website or by emailing citizencomment@warrentonva.gov during the public comment period, which will end at noon the day of the Public Meeting, November 12th, 2025. Copies of the agenda information will be available online and are available for review at Town Hall located at 21 Main Street, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

The owner of the two Shorthorn cattle further described herein shall take notice that on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at 11:30 a.m., or as soon thereafter as the case may be heard, the Fauquier County General District Court, located at 6 Court Street, Warrenton, Virginia, will conduct a hearing. The purpose of the hearing is to consider the petition of the Fauquier County Board of Supervisors, ex rel. Fauquier County Sheriff's Office, Animal Control Division (Petitioner), filed pursuant to Code of Virginia § 3.2-6569 to determine whether said cattle were abandoned, and if so, the Court will decide Petitioner's authority to dispose of the cattle pursuant to subsection D of § 3.2-6546 of the Code of Virginia. Said cattle were located on September 12, 2025 at 10717 Brent Town Road, Catlett, Fauquier County, Virginia. The cattle are Shorthorns, one white and roan male with a green ear tag with number 233, and one female that is red with white markings. The State Veterinarian and the County Attorney's Office were contacted. The cattle were seized and impounded pursuant to Code of Virginia § 3.2-6569.
