Notice is hereby given that the City Council will conduct a public hearing on the following item(s). All interested parties are encouraged to present their views at this hearing.
ARB #2025-0019 - Libeau Row - 9229 Portner Avenue
To consider an appeal of the Architectural Review Board's (ARB) decision on August 19, 2025 to deny a Certificate of Appropriateness application for the replacement of windows. The property is a two-story residential building located on the south side of Portner Avenue between West Street and Weir Alley. The property is zoned R1, Single-Family Residential, and is categorized as a Historic Landmark within the City's Historic Overlay District.

Persons needing interpreter services for the deaf must notify the City Clerk no later than 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 22, 2025.

The Fauquier Public Library Board of Trustees will hold a public hearing on September 25, 2025 at 4 P.M., at 11 Winchester St., Warrenton, VA, on the following proposed fines and fees:
1) $50 refundable security deposit for use of John Barton
Payne Community Hall AV equipment;
2) $4 per successful interlibrary loan; and
3) $20 for lost/damaged CD/DVD case

Proposed Flood Hazard Determinations for Unincorporated Areas of Prince William County, Virginia, Case No. 24-03-0470P. The Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) solicits technical information or comments on proposed flood hazard determinations for the Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM), and where applicable, the Flood Insurance Study (FIS) report for your community. These flood hazard determinations may include the addition or modification of Base Flood Elevations, base flood depths, Special Flood Hazard Area boundaries or zone designations, or the regulatory floodway. The FIRM and, if applicable, the FIS report have been revised to reflect these flood hazard determinations through issuance of a Letter of Map Revision (LOMR), in accordance with Title 44, Part 65 of the Code of Federal Regulations.
