The Fauquier County Planning Commission will hold a work session beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 16, 2025, in the Warren Green Building, First Floor Meeting Room, 10 Hotel Street, Warrenton, Virginia.
The Fauquier County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on the following items at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 16, 2025, in the Warren Green Building, First Floor Meeting Room, 10 Hotel Street, Warrenton, Virginia:
1. SPECIAL EXCEPTION SPEX-25-024701, VIRGINIA ELECTRIC AND POWER COMPANY (OWNER/APPLICANT) - MORRISVILLE SUBSTATION EXPANSION - An application for a Category 20 Special Exception to allow for the expansion of the existing Morrisville Substation. 2. 3. The Fauquier Public Library Board of Trustees will hold a public hearing on September 25, 2025 at 4 P.M., at 11 Winchester St., Warrenton, VA, on the following proposed fines and fees:
1) $50 refundable security deposit for use of John Barton
Payne Community Hall AV equipment;
2) $4 per successful interlibrary loan; and
3) $20 for lost/damaged CD/DVD case
The proposed fines and fees are available during business hours at: Warrenton library, 11 Winchester Street, Warrenton; Bealeton library, 10877 Willow Drive North, Bealeton; and Marshall library, 4133 Rectortown Rd., Marshall.

The Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) solicits technical information or comments on proposed flood hazard determinations for the Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM), and where applicable, the Flood Insurance Study (FIS) report for your community.
