The Fauquier County Planning Commission will hold a work session beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 16, 2025, in the Warren Green Building, First Floor Meeting Room, 10 Hotel Street, Warrenton, Virginia.
The Fauquier County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on the following items at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 16, 2025, in the Warren Green Building, First Floor Meeting Room, 10 Hotel Street, Warrenton, Virginia:
1. SPECIAL EXCEPTION SPEX-25-024701, VIRGINIA ELECTRIC AND POWER COMPANY (OWNER/APPLICANT) - MORRISVILLE SUBSTATION EXPANSION - An application for a Category 20 Special Exception to allow for the expansion of the existing Morrisville Substation. 2. SPECIAL EXCEPTION SPEX-25-024993, THOMAS AND CLAUDIA BREEDING (OWNERS/APPLICANTS) - 5277 OLD ALEXANDRIA TURNPIKE - An application for a Category 20 Special Exception to install a private individual sewage treatment system that discharges into an open ditch. 3. SPECIAL EXCEPTION SPEX-25-025102, RICHARD AND KAREN VARONA (OWNERS)/RICHARD VARONA (APPLICANT) - WARRENTON EQUIPMENT LLC - An application to amend a previously approved Category 32 Special Exception (SPEX-16-006012) for a Contractor's Office on a Property Historically Utilized Solely for Commercial Purposes and a Category 14 Special Permit (SPPT-21-014673) for Farm Equipment Sales, Rental and Service. Citizens wishing to appear in person should arrive prior to the start time of the meeting. Comments are limited to three minutes.
